Goodbye

Well, I believe it is time for this journal to come to an end. Currently, it is far too time-consuming to update http://adjmtw.com on a frequent basis, so I will still new a personal Journal that is easy to update.

That is where VOX comes it.

It is a significant improvement over livejournal in pretty much every aspect possible. I recommend that everyone check it out and migrate there if you like what you see. It's pretty new, but the features are amazing compared to what you get here.

And so ends another journal.

~Sayonara~

Junior High School

Today is the school festival here at one of my schools and it really goes to show how good it can be. While Japan may be criticized for bring too strict with their students - the students are sure having a good time. Everyone I have talked to today seemed very happy. They were all working together and did an excellent job throwing this festival. They should all be proud.

Now, thinking back to my experience in middle school - I begged my parents to send me to boarding school because I hated it so much. I was the "nerd" at my school who was as smart as anything, but had very few friends. Seeing them all so happy today, I wished my school experience was so nice. I'm glad they're having such a good experience.

Fanboys

One of the bad things about Digg is that it is infested with Nintendo fanboys. One went so far as to say that the only reason for buying a PS3 is because you can't live without MGS4 or FFXIII. Here is how I proved him wrong -

My reasons -
Armored Core 4.
Assassin's Creed.
Bioshock.
Castlevania.
Devil May Cry 4.
FEAR 2.
Final Fantasy XIII.
Final Fantasy XIII Versus.
Grand Theft Auto 4.
Gran Tourismo 5.
Heavenly Sword.
Killzone 2.
Lair.
Metal Gear Solid 4.
Need For Speed Carbon.
Resident Evil 5.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer!
Singstar.
Spore.
Unreal Tournament 2K7.
Vampire's Rain.
Virtua Fighter 5.
White Knight Story.
Wipeout 6.
The ability to download every PS1 and PS2 games to the HDD.

I'm sure I will be dugg down.

Normal...

Joe Normal

43 % Nerd, 21% Geek, 4% Dork

For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren't much of an outcast.

I'd say there's a fair chance someone asked you to take this test. In any event, fairly normal.

Congratulations!

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback!

Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in any of the following:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Professional Wrestling

Love & Sexuality

America/Politics

Thanks Again! -- THE NERD?
Holy Shit I Finally Updated!

Yes, there are like 5 new articles added to the website. So, go check them out at Adjmtw.com. You know you want to! While none of them are very funny (maybe they are - I'm not sure) I really just wanted to let you all know how Japan is so far. By you all, I of course mean Robyn (and maybe Paul, but I'm not sure because he never posts). Anyway, pictures will follow as soon as my mini SD card arrives and I can get them off my camera.

Ja, sorosoro...

So yeah...

I'm at school now. I had one class today, which went well... but now I'm just waiting until school is over so I can work with the speech competition students (who are pretty cool btw). Today, I'm feeling a little lost in translation with people saying my name and myself not knowing what they're saying about me. Such is life...

Also, trying to kill a headache with liquids and my Excedrin is at home. Someone might want to send me a big bottle of the stuff... you never know what you'll get from Japan in return.

As for the website, yes - I am still working on it. My problem is that I have a bunch of pictures I want to go with the articles. These pictures are on my phone. So, I need a miniSD card to put them on my computer. So, I look online and I see a 2GB card for $50. Good deal. Here in Japan, a 512MB card is $100. Not a good deal. So, I'm waiting to put money in my home bank account so I can buy the card online. Once I have it, I'll update as soon as possible.

That's all for now...
